About the event

Educating for Environmental Change (EfEC) brings together science educators and IU environmental scientists to provide data-driven classroom lessons and age-appropriate, hands-on activities that help deepen student understanding of climate change. EfEC was co-developed by IU environmental scientists, faculty from the IU School of Education, the WonderLab Museum, and local veteran science teachers. The institute is guided by the following questions: how do we know the climate is changing; how are humans accelerating these changes; what are the impacts of these changes; and what must be done to mitigate the severity and impact of climate change?
